Scleroderma can be divided into localized scleroderma and systemic sclerosis (SSc). Localized scleroderma may be classified according to the shape and distribution of the skin lesions: guttate scleroderma, plague morphea, linear scleroderma and generalized morphea. SSc can be subdivided into limited cutaneous SSc (lcSSc) and diffuse cutaneous form of SSc(dcSSc) according to the range of involvement.
